It’s never too early to start looking for the right daycare center or preschool for your child. However, there are certain times of the year that offer distinct advantages in the process.

As a general rule, preschools and daycares begin filling up in mid summer for fall enrollment.  Fall is a busy time with school starting for older children, and it’s when parents naturally think of school and daycare providers.  Because of that, July and August are the most popular times for parents, and among the busiest times for preschools.

Parents can often avoid the rush, and possibly even reduce their costs, by enrolling earlier in the year.  For example, many daycare centers in south Florida, on the Treasure Coast and in Okeechobee offer early enrollment opportunities as early as January and February each year.  Parents re-enrolling in the same center can sometimes receive discounts, or lock in current rates for the coming year.

While each center has its own strategies for fall enrollment, there’s a good chance parents get more benefits from enrolling or re-enrolling early click here to read.  Not to mention the reduced stress of dealing with preschool enrollment during the busy season and potentially not being able to get a seat in a popular daycare center.

If you’re considering daycare in south Florida, the Treasure Coast or Okeechobee for your child, we invite you to visit the nearest Kids Depot Preschool Academy location and ask about early enrollment and re-enrollment opportunities for the 2015-2016 school year.  All our preschools offer a free visit for new parents and are happy to provide tours and additional information.  You can learn more about our child care center locations here.
